Our success is measured by exceeding our customers’ expectations
• Learn more About SIP
Formed in 1988 as a full-service systems integrator specializing in configuring COTS computer equipment. Systems Integration Plus, Inc.’s (“SIP”) expertise quickly broadened to include – and later showcase – installation and configuration of popular deterministic and near-deterministic operating systems, such as, VxWorks, QNX, Linux and others. By the mid-1990’s SIP added software engineering capability to develop device drivers, firmware, middleware, applications, and graphical user interfaces for these operating systems.
By the late 2000’s, SIP’s success in COTS-based product solutions inspired management to augment the product portfolio to address mission-critical system needs of industrial and military customers. New products based on hardened/rugged embedded and rack mountable platforms using forced-convection, conduction, and hybrid-cooling systems, such as Small Form Factor (SFF), EPIC, COM Express, and PC/104 in addition to ARINC ATR chassis and systems for airborne applications have been among the newest products in SIP’s portfolio. Through aggressive business development activities, SIP also became known as a preeminent National Instruments’ Value Added Reseller Partner, designing software applications and GUI to meet customer’s complex industrial application needs. Most recently, SIP augmented its hardware portfolio with backplane design, specializing in VPX, cPCI, VXS and other gigahertz+ data rate architectures, and a new line of rugged computers printers for use in harsh environments commonly found in military ground-based vehicles, mobile shelters, and aircraft, as well as in the petrochemical/oil exploration and harvesting industry.
Today, SIP is a leader in leading edge electronic packaging products and software design and configuration as well as bolstering its roots in system integration.
